چکیده
Objective: This study aimed to analyze the effects of physical exercise on hepatic biomarkers in adult individuals. Methods: We conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis following PRISMA recommendations registered PROSPERO (CRD42022337749). MEDLINE (via PubMed), Scopus, SPORTDiscus, Web Science were searched, using terms Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) “exercise”, “liver diseases”, “biomarkers”. Results: Fourteen studies achieved eligibility with total 485 participants. Interventions ranged from 4 12 weeks, lasting 24 90 minutes per session, 3 5 sessions week. aerobic resistance exercises, or without vibration device diet implementation, demonstrated reduction different biomarkers, such as aspartate transferase (AST), alanine (ALT), gamma-glutamyl (GGT), alkaline phosphatase (ALP), albumin (ALB), ferritin (Fe), indirect bilirubin (Bil). The main results showed no significant difference ALB, GGT, AST, ALP. However, there was ALT (SMD: – 0.41; 95% CI: 0.71 -0.11; p = 0.008; I2 0%). Conclusion: Physical (e.g., training, high-intensity interval training) favored ALT, ALP, Fe, Bil. pointed out that regular practice can be an efficient recommended strategy minimize deleterious liver diseases.
